Winona E. Apt, 97, of Kunkle passed away early Tuesday morning at Genesis HealthCare Center in Bryan.  She was born on February 2, 1920 in Hudson, Michigan to Warren and Alfretta (Henry) Rowley, Sr.  Winona graduated from Hudson High School.  She married John Wesley Apt and he preceded her in death in 2004.  Winona worked at the 50 Corp in Bryan for 26 years as a press operator. She is survived by her grandchildren, Tammy, Jerry, Suzanne, Michelle and Debbie; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Winona was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years, John, son Larry W. Apt, daughter Nancy C. Apt, brothers Warren V. Rowley, Jr and Richard Rowley. A graveside service will be held for Winona on Thursday, March 23rd at 1pm at Kunkle Cemetery in Kunkle with Dr. Dan VanArsdalen to officiate.  Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
