Yovonnah Marie (Lanius) Miller, 89, of Montpelier, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Fountain Park Assisted Living and Memory Care in Bryan. She was born on December 28, 1934 in Pioneer, Ohio to Clarence and Leila (Richardson) Lanius. Yovonnah graduated from Montpelier High School. On November 19, 1951 she married O. Raymond Miller in Hillsdale, Michigan and he preceded her in passing in September 2016.

Yovonnah enjoyed sewing, bowling and golfing. She was a previous member of the Red Hat Society and she loved to travel with her husband Raymond.

Yovonnah is survived by her two children, Jackie (Miller) Wolf and Jerry Miller; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one sister Marvel (Lanius) Rupp (Ted).

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Raymond; two sons, Michael and Jeffrey Miller; sister, Delores (Lanius) Baker; and brothers, Dwayne, Dwight "Bud", Doyle "Pete" and Jack Lanius.

A time to receive friends will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. Yovonnah will be laid to rest beside her husband privately at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Williams County Humane Society.
