David Weirich Obituary

David Lee Weirich, 64, of Moberly, Missouri passed away on October 22, 2020 at his home.  He was born on March 22, 1956 in Waterloo, Indiana to Robert and Phyllis (Bohler) Weirich.  David graduated from Montpelier High School in 1974.  He married Pamela McCreey on July 29, 1995 and she survives.

Davy worked for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad in the Maintenance of Way Dept on the Tie Surfacing Gang Division for 38 years, retiring in 2013.

Davy had quite a sense of humor and always wanted to make people laugh.  He dearly loved to play tricks on his friends, family and grandchildren.  One of his fun quirks was to drink Hershey Chocolate Syrup straight from the bottle.

Davy is survived by his mother Phyllis Dunn, stepmother Karen Weirich, wife Pamela, three children, David Dean (Kim) Weirich of Bryan, Shianna (Kayla Purnell) Weirich, Brenden (Kelsey West) Weirich, stepson Andrew Romanetto of Missouri and three grandchildren, Alex (Madison Delong) Weirich, Maria Romanetto and Preston Weirich and a brother Mike (Mary) Weirich of Montpelier.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Weirich and stepfather Harold Dunn.
