On December 23, 1945 he married B. Denver and Ruth enjoyed their cross-country travels throughout the US and Canada.  He was an avid rock collector and his collection grew as they traveled.  Denver was a life long farmer and he loved being in his garden, but above all else he loved to serve the Lord and his church.
