Sandra Lee (Siebenaler) Edinger

Sandra Lee Edinger, 73 of Montpelier passed away on August 18, 2023, surrounded by her family at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.  She was born on October 25, 1949 in Montpelier, Ohio to John and Mae (Doan) Siebenaler.  Sandy was a graduate of Montpelier High School in 1968.  On December 10, 1971 she married Gary L. Edinger. 

Sandy is survived by her husband of 51 years Gary, two children Becky (Lainie Fifer) Edinger of Woodstock, Illinois and Chad (Allison) Edinger of Tacoma, Washington; three grandchildren Kaiser, Emery, and Taylor Edinger; sister Ann (Dail) Fritsch of Montpelier; brother Doug (Cindie) Siebenaler of Montpelier; and brother in-law Ned Gutierrez of Montpelier.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Alda J. Gutierrez.

Sandy retired from Kamco in West Unity in 2014 and prior to that she worked at Robinair in Montpelier.  Sandy was a vocal fan at her children's sporting events and a very loving grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and the outdoors and; she especially loved having, raising and riding horses.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
