Sharon P. (Stambaugh) Belanger

Sharon P. Belanger, 72, of Camden, MI, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, OH. She was born on June 26, 1949 in Detroit, MI to Thomas and Irene (Grzybowska) Stambaugh. Sharon taught ceramics for over 20 years in Plymouth. MI and retiring after 10 years with the St. Augustine, Florida school system. She was an animal advocate who enjoyed walks with her family and dogs. Sharon loved the holidays especially driving around the community with her family looking at Christmas lights. She was a constant rock in many lives and gave selflessly to help others, whether it was a voice, a hand or love. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Belanger of Camden; two daughters, Tamara Belanger of Camden and Crystal Belanger of Oahu; one sister, Carol Lowery (George Yack) of Brighton, MI; beloved dog Meatball and her grand puppies; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arthur Stambaugh; sister, Peggy Trombley; and her companion and soul connected dog, Munyo.  

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Prior to her passing, Sharon made the choice to participate in the anatomical gift program by donating her body to science.
